Entering the 2008 Presidential and Congressional election cycles, the Restaurant Action Network grassroots program is working aggressively to grow its network to help elect pro-restaurant candidates and affect legislative policy. In conjunction with NRA's Political Action Committee (PAC), the Restaurant Action Network is participating in the "Mission '08" program in an effort to "educate, motivate and activate" restaurateurs to become involved in election activities in their areas. By participating on a grassroots level in Mission '08, restaurateurs all over the nation can determine who gets placed in the courthouse, the state house, and even the White House!
